My next plan of action should be how to interact with fandom next season but I have a feeling like that’ll just end up being capital, bold letters proclaiming DO NOT ENTER
Look Glee, when all four of you characters in same-sex relationships have bedroom sets (three of which were used this season) you can’t use the excuse “same-sex couples don’t kiss as much in public” as an excuse for not letting your same-sex couples kiss. We’ve seen the straight couples making out on their beds. There is no reason to not show the same sex couples doing that. The “they can’t kiss in public” is a bullshit excuse for not showing queer affection. Especially when EVERY SINGLE BRITTANA KISS (all three of them) has been in a very public location.
And asking the actors about this double standard is shitty as fuck because they can’t do anything other than give answers that will probably piss people off. Like what just happened to Chris.
People using homophobia to justify how queer couples are portrayed on the show! With bonus helpings of “IT’S REALISTIC SOME COUPLES AREN’T INTO PDA”! And an extra helping of “you should be grateful”! With a little “kisses aren’t even that important!” on the side!
In other news, Glee revealed to Not Be As Deep As You Think It Is. Fandom reacts with shock, writes meta about it.
